oldest sister, Ruth and her husband, John Duesing from Massachusetts. John is retired from International Sales Directors for Foxboro Company. They all enjoyed reminiscing of days gone by.
Howard and Helen are so excited about their new, solar home that they have designed and are building on top of the ridge of Red Oak Mountain. They hope to move in next month. Friends and neighbors are cooing and ahhing at the design which is making the Holschuhs even more anxious to inhabit this dream house!
Nancy and Richard Schoppet were visited by their delightful daughters, Laurie Schoppet and Pamela Tribino, and their two handsome beaus, Mike Schlein of Apple Mountain and Bryan Swain of Oakton. It was turkey and the trimmings all weekend! Yum! Fat city!
Belated Happy Birthday goes to Auntie Michele May whose celebration was April 11th. The staff of the Rappahannock News and the Fauquier Democrat didn’t forget as they surprised her with a delicious cake. Even “That Cat” brought a furry, little rabbit home! Michele visited her dear friends in Culpeper, James and Sara McNemar after first renewing her Virginia driver’s license and taking a real, glamorous picture!
Two Saturdays ago Michele attended the National Pen Womens Convention in Washington, D. C. (an organization for published writers) with her friend Frances Naczi from Delaware. Who knows, maybe Auntie Michele will publish her memoirs one day, and Rappahannock’s Castleton might rate a chapter or two!
