NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Pursuant to Section 16-2-3(1) of the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordnance. 1973 and Section 15.1431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, at amended, notice it hereby given that public hearings will be held at the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia on Wednesday, April 25,1964 at nine o'clock in the forenoon (9:00 a.m.) at which time the Board of Zoning Appeals for Rappahannock County will consider the following applications: SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 243: Lorraine F. Robson and Euguene J. Robson, contract owners, have applied for a Special Use Permit to operate a "bed and breakfast inn" for up to six (6) persons pursuant to Section 2-1-2(14) and/or (20) of the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance, 1973 on State Route 707 (Tax Map Ref. No. 55-11B) near Slate Mills. VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 244: James L. Dwyer and Jacqueline P. Owyer have applied for a variance from the requirements of Sections 25-2 and 10-1 to construct a single family residence less than seventyfive feet (75’) tram the centerline of State Route 623 and less than one hundred feet (100') from the rear property line on a nonconforming one-half acre lot in Gid Brown Hollow (Tax Map Ret. No. 18-27) SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 245 A. Burke Hertz and Carol M. Hertz have applied for a Special Use permit to construct a second dwelling on a 13 acre tract on State Route 647 east of Flint Hill (Tax Map Ref. No. 14-20E and 201). Copies of the foregoing applications are on file at the Zoning Office for public inspection, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9fl0 am. to 4:30 p.m., 675-3342. The foregoing applications will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission for their recommendations, if any, on Wednesday, April 18,1984 at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse. The above named applicants, adjacent property owners, and any other interested parties are requested to be present at said meetings to be heard or to address their written comments c/o the Zoning Office, P.O. Box 222, Washington, Virginia, 22747 prior to the hearings.
