Net income for the first quarter of 1984 for F & M National Corporation was $635,000, or 34 cents per share, as compared to $683,000, or 37 cents per share, for the same period last year.
Deposits increased from $217.7 million last year to $250.5 million as of March 31. Net loans were $170.4 million up from $136.3 million for the same period while assets were $282 million up from $246.7 million.
