Mr. and Mrs. George F. McKenzie, Jr. of Boston announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Dorothy Patricia to Timothy Francis Shaffer, son of Mrs. Helen Shaffer of Remington.
Miss McKenzie is a 1984 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
Mr. Shaffer is a 1981 graduate of Fauquier County High School and is a bricklayer. He will be joining the United States Marines on August 13.
The marriage will take place on Sunday, July 29 at 3 p.m. at Hope Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Milton Switzer will officiate.
