He liked the spoof so much, in fact, that he even borrowed Akroyd’s opening insult to use when he and Ms. Alexander appeared on panels together at pess conventions, meetings and trade shows. “It always brought down the house when I would begin, “Shana, you ignorant slut!” Mr. Kilpatrick says, chuckling.
He’s no longer on “60 Minutes” but still joins “Agronsky and Company” Sunday mornings to trade arguments with Carl Rowan, Martin Agronsky, George Will, Elizabeth Drew and Hugh Sidey. He also writes four columns each week, three of “The Conservative View” which appear in 515 papers, and one “Writer’s Art,” carried in 35.
