Like good scouts out ahead of the battle, law enforcement officials need the help of motorists who care enough to report drunk drivers when they see them swerving.
The more eyes out there watching the merrier.
About 10 percent of all drivers on the road this Saturday night can be presumed intoxicated.
They’ve killed 250,000 people in a decade.

One more stat: Without special enforcement, the chance of arresting a drunk driver is one in 2,000.
