“The enlistment must be for a four-year period in the Regular Army, in one of the occupational specialties,” Lt. Col. Speer said.
For three-year training enlistment into selected COHORT units, recruiters can offer a $4,000 bonus.
A COHORT unit allows a group of recruits to train together and then to be deployed as a unit either in the United States or overseas, Lt. Col. Speer explained.
