Chester Gap Carnival The Chester Gap Firemen’s Carnival will be held July 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st. Everyone is invited to attend.
Exhibitors Invited Homemakers are encouraged to display their exhibits at the farm show grounds in Culpeper on July 27 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Judging begins at 1 p.m. on Friday. A $1.00 entry fee will be charged each exhibitor and each exhibitor can have only one exhibit of their work in each class. A list of classes may be picked up at the Rappahannock Extension Office. Exhibits may be picked up after 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 29. Florence Vickere, Extension Agent, will transport exhibits if you bring them to the office appropriately boxed, labeled and tagged by Thursday, July 26 at 4:30 p.m. Volunteers are still needed to work in the kitchen and as hostesses in the home economics building during the farm show. Please call Florence (leave a message if she is out) at 675-3619 if you can help out for a couple or four hours.
