We noticed many volunteers in many areas throughout the day who worked long hours to see that people were entertained and provided for well into the evening.
It was good to see people helping each other get out at the end of the program. The darkness was lisghted up by auto lights and people were patient and helpful getting onto the highway.
It was a good day — no accidents, all seemed to have had a great experience. A patriotic memory of our freedoms won.
A final note: The next morning we saw a sight to remember. Mrs. Steve Bailey, and a small crew were policing the grounds which were strewn with much trash. She had had little sleep for three days working hard as a crew member of the rescue squad. God bless her!
