Workshops at Middle Street
The Middle Street Gallery soon will begin a series of workshop in the fine arts. Three are in the planning stages now, and more will be offered in the future as instructors and interest make themselves known.
The first of these will be an all-day watercolor workshop to be taught by Donna Brune, an artist recently who moved to Rappahannock from Warrenton with many years experience in teaching. The class is intended for those who have had some experience with drawing; the basic techniques of watercolors will be covered, and the participants will complete a painting during the course of the workshop.
The cost for the day’s instruction and all materials needed is $40, and pre-registration by August 8 is required.
