Atoka Farm Country Suptper
The eighth annual Atoka Country Supper, a highlight on the Commonwealth’s political calendar, will be held Saturday, September 15, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the home of Senator John W. Warner, Atoka Farm near Middleburg.
Senator Paul S. Trible, Jr. (R-Va.) and Mrs. Trible and co-host Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson (7th-Va.) and Mrs. Trible and co-host Com * and Frank R. Wolf (lOth-Va.) will be on hand at the old-fashioned picnfr, according to Donna Givens of Leesburg, Chairman of this year’s Supper, sponsored by the Virginia Federation of Republican Women. Also attending will be former Virginia Governor and Mrs. John Dalton, former Governor and Mrs. A. Lin wood Holton and D. French Slaughter, Jr., Republican candidate for Congress from the 7th District and Mrs. Slaughter. The guest of honor for the 1984 Supper will be announced aka later date. • '<
The rain date for this year’s Supper is Sunday, September 16. Invitations will be mailed in mid-August and tickets will cost $30 per person.

Fire & Rescue Meeting Changed
The Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue Association will meet on Friday, July 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall. The meeting was orginally scheduled for Friday, July 20. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.
