Mrs. Anna Josephine Fitzhugh Timbers of Washington, died Tuesday, July 17 at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of lifetime resident of Rappahannock, she was the widow of the late Robert Henry Timbers. A member of First Baptist Church Washington, Va., the Rev. Wendall Grant, Pastor.
Survivors include one son, John L. Timbers of Ardmore, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Bailey of Washington, Mrs. Mary Collins of Ardmore, Pa., and Mrs. Louise Nelson of Doylestown, Pa., 16 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 13 great-greatgrandchildren, 7 nephews, 5 nieces, grand and great-grandnieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. /
Services will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Viewing will be Friday evening, July 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church. Interment in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodville.
Pallbearers will be Edward H. Bailey, Jr., Charles A. Brown, Robert H. Bailey, Michael Byrams, Victor Moran and Edward Norwood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Edward Timbers, John Henry Timbers, Johnnie Dennis, Dwayne Brown, Sean Brown and David Gaskins.
