Seniors’ discounts
asked of businesses
Area businesses will be approched in the next two weeks to consider offering discounts to senior citizens.
The program, which began Sept. 30 and continues through Oct. 11, is sponsored by the RappahannockRapidan Community Services Center as part of its senior citizen discount program.
Participating businesses in the district, which also includes Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison and Orange counties, will get a red-andwhite sticker to place in their windows and will be listed in the “Voice of Experience” which reaches more than 3,500 households in the district.
Seniors receiving discount cards pay a $2 charge to defray the costs.

LFCC seeks pastoral
assistance
Lord Fairfax Community College Campus Pastoral Council is seeking a coordinator to provide assistance for the 1985-86 academic year.
The council is looking for a coordinator to provide individual counseling, Chi Alpha advising, interaction with students, faculty and staff.
