“It’s not as different as you would anticipate because we don’t look different, so people didn’t notice us,” Dr. Young said. “They are wearing more Western-type clothing now and more colors.”
Although the government is making blue jeans now, Western jeans are still in high demand — “We were stopped several times by people wanting to buy Bill’s (Dr. Young’s) jeans right off his body,” Mrs. Young said.
