RCES book fair
starts Monday
The Rappahannock County Elementary School is sponsoring its annual student book fair Oct. 14-21.
Students can browse and buy books which will be on display in the library from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students will then bring home a slip with the titles of books selected and wishes to buy. Parents are asked to make changes or corrections in the order slip and return it with payment for the book no later than Oct. 21.
Money will be collected daily in the library.
Parents are welcome to visit the book fair at any time during the week. All books will also be on display during parent-teacher conferences on Oct. 21.
Profits from the book sales will be used to buy additional library materials.
Cake walk
