Rappahannock County boys cross country runners defeated Randolph-Macon Academy Monday and Massanutten Military Academy.
That was the good news for the school’s teams.
Most all the rest of the news was bad.
The boys lost to Warren County in the same meet, and lost to Strasburg.
And the girls’ team lost to Massanutten and Strasburg when it was unable to field a team because of illness and defeated Warren County when the Wildcats were unable to field a team.
The flu bug is about the only runnner in local girls cross country.
