Thanks for dance
To the editor:
The Rappahannock County High School Booster Club would like to thank all the students that came out to the “Rock ’n’ Roll Dance” held at the school last Friday night.
We made approximately $350 which will go towards a marquee to be built in front of the school. Thank you Margret for being there and being our treasurer for all of these years. We would also like to thank the disc jockeys — Mike, Doug, Dexter, Bino and Willie for their part in making the evening such a success.
Our sincere appreciation to the “Lee Family,” Marie Davis, Will Brown and Bob Chappell for the sound equipment and their expertise.
And last but not least, a great big thank you to all the parents and Mrs. Hewitt who chaperoned that evening and/or provided us with the most delectable baked goods.
