Rosie P. Mills
Rosie Pearl Cameron Mills, 70, of 4148 Woodvale Drive in Roanoke, died Oct. 2 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was formerly of Huntly and was bom in Rappahannock. She was the daughter of the late Ashby and Ada Mahoney Cameron.
Her late husband was Willie Buster Mills.
Surviving are a daughter, Rose M. Bussey, of Roanoke; a son, Stephen W. North, of Huntly; two brothers, Samuel “Jack” North, of Front Royal, and Stewart G. North, of Marshall; two sisters, Minnie W. Goranson, of Chester Gap, and Georgia M. Brown, of Philmont; three grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
Funeral services were conducted on Oct. 5 at Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal. The Rev. William Alford officiated. Burial was in Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

James A. Reid
James A. “Jimmy” Reid, 18, of 828 Winding Way, Bartlesville, Okla., died Sept. 25.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Esther Reid, of the home; one brother, Thomas B. Reid, Jr., of Norman, Okla.; two sisters, Charlene Workman, of Bartlesville, and Vickey Reid, of the home; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Juana Aquino, of Kansas City, Mo.; three aunts and one uncle in this area, Mrs. Paul Miller, of Flint Hill, Mrs. Downing Wood, of Washington, Mrs. Bruce Bowie, of Culpeper, and Joseph B. Reid, of McLean. His mother, Thelma (Lazo) Reid, preceded him in death in July, 1974.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 28 in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in Bartlesville. The Rev. Russell Cheatham, associate pastor, officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Neekamp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
