some areas of the state. The focus of this program is to give younger children an introduction into the 4-H • program. It further meets the needs of younger children who have older brothers and sisters involved in 4-H.
The 4-H emblem consists of a green four-leaf clover with an “H” on each leaf. The “H’s” stand for Head, Heart, Hands and Health, representing learning, loyalty, service and better living.
Excellence is an established value in 4-H. “To Make the Best Better” has been the motto of 4-H almost since it began nearly eight decades ago. While individual and team competition are typical of 4-H, the 4-H youth also learn the importance of cooperation through many club and group activities.
We are constantly looking for young people and adults who would like to become involved with 4-H in any area from the young Cloverbuds through teens.
