vows exchanged

Miss Robin Ann Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jones of Anussville, and John Richard Eastham Jr., son of John R. \ Eastham of Front Royal and Mrs. Ann C. Simmons of Washington, were united in marriage by the Rev. William L. Alford in the Chester Gap Baptist Church on Friday, March 28, at 4:30 p.m.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Williams of Amissville.

Grandparents of the groom are Mrs. Goldie Eastham of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark of Washington and his great-grandfather is Robert Lee Frazier of Washington.

The bride was attired in an off white dress and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers. Her only attendant was the groom’s sister Miss Edie Eastham.

The groom’s best man was his grandfather, Edward M. Clark.

A reception was held at the home of the groom’s grandparents the Clarks for the family and the Rev. Mr. Alford.

The couple spent the weekend at Shenandoah River Bend.

The bride works in Fairfax.

The groom is a part-time student and works with the Brown and Clark Construction Company.

The couple is residing with his grandparents at the present time.
