In addition to Wakefield School’s annual spring trip to Europe, the school, in conjunction with the Parents’ Association, is sponsoring a spring ski trip to Canada. A group of 80 Wakefield students, faculty members, and parents are scheduled to leave Huntly this Saturday en route to the Grey Rocks resort outside Montreal.
The group is scheduled to spend the week enjoying spring skiing. Students will receive daily ski lessons followed by free time in the afternoons to practice their new skills. The Wakefield students will compete in a day of races followed by an awards* ceremony before leaving Canada.
Other planned activities include a talent show staged by Wakefield students, a swim party and a disco night, and night-time outings in horse-drawn sleighs.
Excursions are also planned to the French-speaking city of Montreal where language students will have a chance to practice their skills.
