When it comes to expanding their homes through room additions, many people are choosing greenhouses, according to a greenhouse manufacturer and installer.
“Most of our customers are interested in changing their existing home, office or restaurant rather than building a new one,” says Christoper Esposito, president of the Four Seasons Greenhouse franchise network, based in Farmingdale, N.Y. “The greenhouse structure is most popular because we are selling the feel of outdoor living and bringing it indoors.”
A typical 10-feet-by- 16-feet greenhouse addition costs $10,000 to $15,000, fully installed.
