“Buy,. a board. PLEASE!”

Last week the Rappahannock County Elementary School Student Parent Teacher Association (SPTA) kicked off their “buy a board” campaign to raise money for updating existing playground equipment, the construction of a new playground structure and a fitness course. The playground plans were approved by the School Board and will be paid for and built by the SPTA.

Every interested student in kindergarten through seventh grade was given a package containing diagrams of the lower grade playground area and the upper grade fitness course, an informational sheet, and a blank form to list donors’ names (which it’s hoped will be filled in the next few weeks).
