Motorists warned of deer
Motorists are warned to be extremely careful when driving on the county's roads, especially after dark. A number of accidents involving deer have been reported during the past several weeks, and the danger will continue through the winter. State Police recommend that motorists scan the roadsides for the glint from animals' eyes, and to never out-drive their headlights; in other words, be able to stop within the distance illuminated ahead.
