Jo Jamboree ‘’?1, The 1989 National Jamboree will >Klbe held during the summer of 1989 at Fort A.P. Hill, near Bowling Green, l^a. A plan was announced recently by the Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, to make certain that no deserving qualified Boy 5 ’ Scout will miss out on the 1989 Na> ’tional Jamboree to be held next summer. Deadline is Dec. 2 to apply for available scholarships. Jamboree information will be featured at a rally for all Scouts and their parents on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Armstrong Service Center in Winchester at 2 p.m. The rally will include a Jamboree video covering the big event, a preJamboree training schedule for beTore the Jamboree and a breakdown :nof the Jamboree fee. '■ There will also be a question-andanswer session at the rally which ‘ will cover the Jamboree patch de’ ■ feign, necessary uniforms and other ‘items.
