Exercise star to visit area
Beverly of the nationally syndicated television show “Beverly Exercise” seen on WTKK TV-66 at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. weekdays will be at Taylor Jr. High School in Warrenton on Sunday, Nov. 13 at3 p.m. and at Culpeper High School on Monday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. She will be sharing her personal testimony and speaking on health and nutrition. Gift basket workshop at Middle St.
A gift basket workshop will be held at Middle Street Gallery on Tuesdays, Nov. 15 and 22 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The two session class will be devoted to weaving small holiday gift baskets. Basic basketry techniques will be presented using vines and wreaths. Fee is $45 and includes all materials. Pre-registration is required. 'Empire of the Sun'
The movie Empire of the Sun will be playing at Gay Street The1 ater on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The movie stars Christian Bale and John Malkovich and is directed by Steven Spielberg. The film recounts the terrifying events that 11-year-old Jim Graham lives through after the armed forces of Imperial Japan, the Empire of the Sun, march into Shanghai on Dec: 8, 1941, following their bombing of Pearl Harbor.
