QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: nomenclature and symbols used in drafting and construction plans; basic roadway design; and construction practices. Skill in principles and methods of drafting. Ability to: use drafting tools; perform mathematical calculations necessary for design and layout work using algebra, trigonometry,.and geometry; and interpret standards specifications, and written oral instructions as realted to the plan development process. Graduation from community college with an associate degree in civil engineering technology or graduation from high school and work experience providing a background in drafting and design skills; or training, education, and / or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the work.
SALARY: $16,586 - 22,655 - (Grade 7)
