Mrs. Clater Was bom Aug. 12, | 911, in Rappahannock County, the laughter of the late Ernest and 4ary Jane Atkins Dodson. She was member of the Sperry ville United fethodist Church and married to he late James F. Clater.
Surviving are three daughters, 4rs. Richard Wayland, Boston, 4rs. William Merchant, Front loyal and Mrs. Wilson Burke, Speryville; two sons, Ernest F. Clater, England and Randolph D. Clater, iperryville; three sisters, Gladys inderson and Annie Mary Oden, >oth of Culpeper and Mrs. Richard Irown, Sperryville; and nine grandhildren.
She was predeceased by one son, tobert “Bobby” Clater.
Funeral services were held Nov. I at the Sperryville United Methodst Church with the Rev. Merlin ihorb officiating. Burial was in iperryville Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by 31ore Funeral Home in Culpeper.
