Tax workshop offered
The Rappahannock County Extension Office is sponsoring a tax workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. Designed for fanners and small business owners, the seminar will address plans which those individuals can make over the next several months to improve their tax status. The program will be presented by Jack Dunford, the Extension farm management specialist at the Culpeper County extension office. For more information, call the county’s extension office (675-3619). Drawing—Collage classes for youth
Laurie Marshall’s art class for young people aged 6 to 16 at Middle Street Gallery will begin Monday, Nov. 14 and run until Monday, Dec: 5 from 3:30-5:15 p.m. The class will involve gaining drawing skills and learning techniques in collage. Students are asked to bring magazine and newspaper photos that have caught their eye. The fee is $25 and all materials will be provided. Financial assistance is available Call 675-3267 to register.
