Walter Dodson
Walter Marcus Dodson, 78, of Sperryville died Nov. 6 at Fauquier Hospital.
Mr. Dodson was bom Oct. 21, 1910, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Walker and Loney Frances Nicholson Dodson. He was a member of the Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church and married to the late Beulah F. Dodson.
Surviving are one daughter, Edna Sisk, Manassas; one son, Thaniel M. Dodson, Sperryville; two sisters, Bertha Dodson, Castleton and Fleda Everhart, Martinsburg, W.Va.; one brother, Uster Dodson, Sperryville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at the Thornton Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Kirby Shenk officiating. Burial will be in Sperryville Cemetery.
