A parting shot: tell your state political representatives that you support legislation that will encourage beverage container recycling, and “recycle first” legislation (mandating recycling programs before incineration can be introduced). Bills to institute both of these approaches will likely be introduced into the 1989 General Assembly.

Actually, we’re just getting started here. Waste is, well it’s life. You know what I mean? Where does everything go, eventually? How many people think of that? We haven’t even talked about education yet, or what to do about those garbage dumpsters. . .
