the WSA had selected a dechlorination system that would meet their needs, could be supplied by a Culpeper firm, and could be installed without the aid of an engineering firm. They have also sent specifications on this system to the State Health Department for approval.
WSA secretary James E. Swindler II said that a check with the northern regional office indicated they are satisfied with this response and will halt the parade of notices of violation that could have led to fines, or even to closing the plant.
Once the Health Department approves the system, Mr. Swindler said he believes it can be installed within 60 days.
