Mrs. Devers was bom in Ashford, Ala., the daugther of the late Lester and Mary Fouche Sinquefield. She was a retired employee of Farmers & Merchants National Bank in Front Royal, an office clerk for Quality Inn and secretary at the Pentagon in World War II. She was a member of the Front Royal Lioness Club, the Front Royal Christian Women’s Club and attended the First Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are her husband, William J. Devers; two sons, Ronald G. Dovel of Manassas and Daniel F. Dovel of Luray; one daughter, Patricia Kettlewell of Middletown; three stepsisters, Charlotte A. Lee of Arlington, Lillian Aleshire of Roanoke and Marie D. Cline of Clinton, Md.; eight grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Thomas Kettlewell, Timothy Kettlewell, Todd Kettlewell, Mike Dovel, Mike Williams and Bill Rudolph.
