The purchase of adopting a CIP is to assist in annual capital budgeting, assist in understanding local fiscal capacity, to provide for long-range planning and development, and to inform the public of major projects being considered, well in advance of their implementation. K
The purpose of the public hearing is to review the proposed CIP and to accept comments from the public on setting priorities for listed items or on adding or deleting certain items. All interested persons are invited to attend and to make comment. The proposed CIP is available for inspection Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30, at the Building, Zoning and Administration office at the Corner of Porter and Main Streets in Washington.
