4) . Off-site drainfields make sense for existing lots whose septicfields fail. To subdivide new lots that cannot safely provide a satisfactory, primary and alternate septic fields is’ poor planning and should not be done. !

To allow off-site drainfields or existing lots does not establish a percedent to allow off-site drainfields' for new subdivided lots. Planning is supposed to prevent the mistakes’ and correct the problems of the past.

5) . Minimum lot size: I realized' 2 part lots existed. However paragraph 2-32 of the Subdivision Ordinance does not allow a boundary line, adjustment in this case as the lots divided and the lots created do not conform with the minimum lot size stipulated by the Zoning Ordinance.

The point is if the laws do not allow something the Council wants to' accomplish then the law should be. amended or a variance granted.

The law should not be ignored. ;

“Extraordinary hardship” was* not identified or established as required by the Subdivision Ordinance* before granting the waiver for offsite septic fields.

A boundary line adjustment was' made on lot 7 even though it does not qualify for a boundary line adjustment as defined in Paragraph 2-32 of the Subdivision Ordinance.

Poorly drained soils that cannot be used for a satisfactory septic field are spread all over town. Certainly these soils are not unusual or extraordinary.
