Cooper Sr. His mother was the late Ruth Gladys Grimes.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Belle Graham Cooper; one son, Paul Cooper of Sperryville; two daughters, Ms. Donna Cooper with the U.S. Navy, Ms. Robin Cooper of Sperryville; two brothers, William Allen Cooper Sr. of Fredericksburg, Lawrence Franklin Cooper of Morrisville; four sisters, Mrs. Laura Frances Merendini of Springfield, Mrs. Mary Jane Furman of Warrenton, Mrs. Lois Lee Clater of Manassas, and Mrs. Patricia Ann Atkinson of Bealeton; two half-sisters; one step-sister, Mrs. Ellen Taylor of Woodford.

Funeral services were held February 14, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home, Fredericksburg. The Rev. Randy Newsome and the Rev. Laura Griffin officiated. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Martha S. Devers, of Front Royal died Feb. 11 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
