HELP WANTED: RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY BUILDING
OFFICE SECRETARY
The County of Rappahannock is seeking qualified applicants to fill the temporary, part-time position of secretary to the Building Official. Duties shall include the issuance and updating of building permits, scheduling inspections, answering the telephone, light typing, filing reports and information, as well as managing the day-to-day operations and recordkeeping responsibilities of the office.
The position will involve twenty hours per week through July 1, 1990, at which time the position may be reclassified. Reclassification may include an increase to permanent part-time status, or to permanent full-time status. The applicant should keep these possibilities in mind.
The successful applicant shall possess the abilities necessary to fulfill the above requirements, shall be personable, and shall be able to deal with the public courteously and promptly.
The compensation for this position shall be $6.00-$6.50 per hour.
