Pre-school film series
The Rappahannock County Library will sponsor a pre-school film series starting March 7 through March 28 on Wednesdays only at 10 a.m. For more information call the Library at 675-3780.

House presents mystery
The School House Restaurant and Inn presents “One of the Gang” on Friday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. The mystery is set in the Roaring Twenties and is styled after the infamous St. Valentine Day massacre. The murder mystery play also includes a three course dinner for $49.95. Reservations are currently being accepted by calling 675-3030.
Basketry at Middle St.
The following art classes with Cathy Dancing Reed will be held at Middle Street Gallery in Washington. “The Art of the Vine” is scheduled Feb. 16 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a basketry class for women; the cost is $45 per student (bring a lunch). “Art from Nature for Young People” will be held Mondays after school from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 19 and 26. It will teach basketry craft and creative use of natural objects. The cost is $25 per student. All materials for these classes will be provided by the artist. “The Medicine Wheel,” will be held Sunday, Feb. 25 and Tuesday, March 20, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fee is $20 per student. Life drawing workshop
The Middle Street Gallery Artists’ Cooperative has resumed its Life Drawing Workshop on Thursday evenings, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This is an open workshop with no instructor, but a model provided. Bring your own art supplies. Fee is $10. For additional information call 675-3440.
