March will be “Film Month” at the Library. Each Wednesday morning at 10 a.m., pre-schoolers and home-schooled children are in vited to view films on loan from the State Library. Mrs. Jones has selected titles on a variety of subjects that promise to be both educational and entertaining. Interested parents may call the library to enroll their children in this free program.
Plans for the new library continue, and people driving down U.S. 211 may notice that the site for the new building is being cleared. Arrangements have been made for a sign to be erected at the site identifying the location for the new facility. Evidence of progress will become more visible as plans proceed.
