Anyone desiring to participate in working carnival stands or selling tickets should call Carroll Ray Settle at 937-4781 to arrange to become an honorary member. State law now requires that anyone selling tickets must be at least an honorary fire member of the Department.

The parade will begin at 7 p.m., with line-up at 6, on Thursday, June 28. For no-fee parade entries, call Shelia at 937-4357.

The Department is sponsoring a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on March 31 featuring Nightfall. (Must be 21). Call Shelia at 937-4357 for reservations.

The Cub Scouts weekly meeting is from 7 to 8 p.m. at United Methodist.

Cub Scouts Pack 50 went swimming last Friday night at Lakeside Swim Club in Culpeper. A total of 43 attended, including 13 scouts and 6 leaders.

The Scouts annual trash pickup will be held March 31. Meet at Amissville Baptist at 8:30 a.m. The scouts will clean up Rt. 611 for two miles. Following the pickup the scouts will be taken skating.
