Just imagine a community united in the spirit of caring, a community expressing itself, united in its efforts to bring solace to a family in need.
Project Rainbow would like to express its heartfelt thanks to the people of the Rappahannock-Culpeper region for their generous gifts of time, energy and outright financial support. This generosity helped to make a vision become a reality. This reality was very tangible support for Shana Nicholson and her family.
We cannot possibly thank the huge numbers of community members, except collectively, but special thanks go to the Washington Volunteer Fire Department for the use of their hall, the Okays for their gift of music to raise the spirit and to Vincent Day for his auctioneer’s wit and wisdom. The spirit of giving was accompanied by the joy of fun.
