Painter of Culpeper; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hoyt and Mrs. Virgie Pappas, both of Culpeper; three grandchildren, Kevin Todd, Craig Alan and Susan Michelle Painter; and one great-grandson, Christopher Seth Painter. Additional survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Allegra Painter of Culpeper and three step-granddaughters.

Funeral services were held on March 9, at Culpeper Assembly of God Church with the Rev. William C. Smith Jr. officiating. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Jimmy Sisk, Robert Sisk, Colis Fincham, Jack M. Weaver, Louis Cubbage and Jerry Hoyt.

Culpeper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
