THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, on March 26, 1990, at 8:00 o’clock p.m. in the Courtroom of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County in Washington, Virginia, the Planning Commission of the Town of Washington, Virginia will hold a public hearing on each of the following items:
Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Washington, Virginia, to Ariticle 1,6, 7, 8, and 9. The purpose of said Amendments shall be primarily to bing the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Washington into conformity with state law as it regards issuance of special use permits, appeals of administrative officer’s decisions, powers of the Board of Zoning Appeals, appeals of the decisions of the Board of Zoning Appeals, violations of the Zoning Ordinance and penalties therefore, and amendments to the Zoning Ordinance.
Any citizen wishing to address the Planning Commission on either of these proposed amendments or ordinances, should appear at the public hearing and make their opinions known. After said public hearing, the Planning Commission, may consider a recommendation of the adoption, the non-adoption, or the modification of the above mentioned ordinances or amendments, with said recommendation to be forwarded to the Town Council of the Town of Washington.
A copy of the proposed amendments are available at the Zoning Administrator’s Office for the Town of Washington, and Rappahannock County, and the County of Rappahannock, Virginia, and at the Rappahannock County Public Library during normal business hours.
