County Dog Warden Ray Pullen charged Gustavo A. Lopez, 34, of Route 1, Blue Rock Farm, Washington, with intentional maiming of an animal after he allegedly shot a German Shepherd dog in the leg with a shotgun.

According to employees at Faith Mountain Company’s warehouse on U.S. 211, the dog came to their business on Monday, March 5 with a severe wound to its left front foot and lower leg. They called county dog warden Ray Pullen, who took the dog to a veterinarian for treatment.
