Under its program, Potomac Edison proposes to offer a promotional incentive of $300 per installation to contractors who install high-efficiency electric add-on heat pumps to existing fuel warm air systems. In addition, Potomac Edison proposes to offer $500 per year to installing contractors for the purpose of cooperative advertising. A public hearing on Potomac Edison's application is scheduled for May 30,1990, at 10:00 a m. in the Commission’s 13th Floor Courtroom, Jefferson Building, Bank and Governor Streets, Richmond, Virginia to receive evidence relevant to the application. A copy of Potomac Edison’s application is available for public inspection during regular business hours at any Potomac Edison office where customer bills may be paid and at the SCC Document Control Center, Floor B1, Jefferson Building, Richmond, Virginia. Any person desiring to comment in writing on the application may do so by directing such comments to the Clerk of the Commission as provided below. Any person desiring to make a statement at the public hearing, either for or against the application, need only appear in the Commission's Courtroom at 9:45 a m. on the day of the hearing and identify himself or herself to the Bailiff as a public witness. On or before April 25, 1990, any person desiring to participate as a protestant, as defined in SCC Ruie 4:6, shall file an original and twenty (20) copies of a notice of protest as provided by SCC Rule 5:16 (a), and serve a copy on Company’s counsel, Philip J. Bray, Esquire, The Potomac Edison Company, The Potomac Edison Company Building, Downsville Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740 and upon all protestants.
Any person who expects to submit evidence, crossexamine witnesses or otherwise participate in the proceeding as a protestant, pursuant to SCC Rule 4:6 shall file, on or before May 2, 1990, an original and twenty (20) copies of a protest with the Clerk of the State Corporation Commission, c/o Document Control 6enter, P.O.
