Mrs. T.M. Johnston was a Monday overnight guest of Mrs. Andrew Meade, Bethany and Brooks in Charlottesville while Mr. Meade was on a business trip in New Orleans.

Mrs. Ethel Jenkins of Aroda and Mrs. Reda Cave of Etlan were Thursday visitors of Mrs. Thelma Jenkins and they all visited Mr. and Mrs. Vemie Lang in Luray and Mr. E. A. Cave and family in Stanley.
Mr. Lester Deal >celebrated his birthday last week with a dinner at Brookside Restaurant near Luray. Others enjoying the occasion were Mrs. Deal, Mrs. Mary Q. Snead, Mrs. Christine Johnston, Nettie Compton and Tony Deal, all local. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. McKinnley Taylor, John and Karen of Stanley and Mr. and Mrs. Don Deal and Brian, Pam Deal, Joe Deal, Joyce Deal, Frances Brooke and Chris Gray, all of Culpeper. We wish Mr. Deal a belated happy birthday.
