All four teams were missing at least two of their players for Saturday night’s games, alumni whose minds were willing but whose muscles apparently wouldn’t answer the bell for the second round.

In a see-saw game of blazing offense, the “White” team, coached by Mike Atkins, used its youth to advantage to defeat the “Black” team, coached by Pete Aylor.
The “Whites” put three players well into double figures, with Walter Frye hittig 19 points and Tommy Jenkins contributing 18, followed by Clarence Pendleton with 12. Mark Brown and player/coach Atkins hit for another nine each, followed by Ricky Shaw and Wesley Jenkins with eight points apiece.
