Viewtown road
to be widened
A contract to widen a .9-mile section of Route 640 in Viewtown was recently awarded by the Commonwealth Transportation Board at its April 18 meeting in Richmond.
Rappawan Inc. of Front Royal will be paid $179,000 to fix a stretch of the road between Route 642 and the Culpeper County line.
