The Ruritan Club voted to send a girl from Rappahannock County High to All-State this summer. This is in addition to the normally awarded scholarship to a senior. (This is a one-time expense since two girls tied and it was felt both should have the privilege of attending this very important event.)

A special thanks to real estate agent Roger Batchelder who has pledged $1,000 to the reward for information that leads to a conviction of person(s) responsible for killing a pair of bald eagles and dumped near Sperryville last month. The award money is now at $9,000.
