Carey Colvin plays guitar
Fairfax guitar player Carey Colvin will perform at the Woodsmoke Cafe in Sperryville Friday night at 8:30.
Mr. Colvin plays Bonnie Raitt, Led Zeppelin, and originals from the album he's currently working on.
If his last name sounds familiar, it may be because his parents are Barbara and Thomas Colvin of Sperryville.
There's a $2 cover and the regular menu is available.

Memorial Day weekend
Theater, mime and vaudeville are coming to Washington during Ki Theatre's Memorial Day weekend celebration, May 25-27.
The Ki Theatre's "Katie Malone" and the Actors' Ensemble of New York with "Mrs. Ripley's Trip" will be performed at 8 p.m. May 25.
Larry Goldstein and Mark Jaster in "The Clown, the Mime and Vaudeville" will provide an evening of sketches, antics and laughter for the whole family at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 26.
All weekend long there will be a workshop series for performers and nonperformers in all disciplines.
Tickets for the performances are $8 for members, $9 for non-members and $10 at the door. Advance tickets are available at Mountainside Market and the Country Cafe in Washington, Better Thymes in Front Royal, Organic Harvest/New Leaf Bookstore in Warrenton and Culpeper Music.
